The Bird Triumphs Again with Triple Wins at TECH PLANTER ASIA FINALS 2022 in Singapore

Galansiyang Inc. won three (3) awards during the TECH PLANTER ASIA FINALS 2022 in Singapore.
On August 20, 2022, Leave a Nest conducted the TECH PLANTER Asia Final 2022 at The Meeting Point, 73B Ayer Rajah Crescent, Singapore. This prestigious event brought together the grand winners and Leave a Nest winners of TECH PLANTER from the Philippines, Indonesia, Singapore, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Thailand, who had competed between May and July 2022. TECH PLANTER aims to bolster the deep tech ecosystem, with Leave a Nest striving to connect and support startups in solving global issues one step at a time.
For this year’s DEMO DAY, the event was supported by partners such as Mitsui Chemicals Singapore R&D Centre, BIPROGY, Mitsubishi Electric Corporation, Glico, Rohto Pharmaceuticals, Mitsui O.S.K Lines, Nippon Shokubai, and Real Tech Holdings. Most judges were physically present, providing insightful comments and networking opportunities for the teams.
Galansiyang Inc. Shines at TECH PLANTER Asia Finals 2022
Galansiyang Inc. emerged as a standout, winning three awards during the TECH PLANTER Asia Finals 2022 in Singapore:
Mitsubishi Electric Award: Awarded by Mr. Kenji Minefuji of Mitsubishi Electric’s Business Innovation & DX Strategy Division, this prize will advance Galansiyang’s TANOM drone planting technology. Mitsubishi Electric is renowned for its electrical and electronic products and systems used in various fields and applications.
BIPROGY株式会社 Award: Presented by Dr. Kumiko Shirai, BIPROGY’s Corporate Officer of Global Business, this award will aid the development of the LANTAWA forest and carbon monitoring platform. BIPROGY is Japan’s leading IT solutions provider.
Leave a Nest Group Award: Given by Leave a Nest Executive Officer Dr. Ryuta Takeda, this award marks the beginning of Galansiyang’s journey in Tokyo, Japan. Leave a Nest Co. Ltd. is a collective of Japanese researchers and companies dedicated to advancing science and technology for global happiness.
Out of 12 outstanding startups from the Philippines, Indonesia, Singapore, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Thailand, which were selected from 186 applicants, the Philippines, represented by BIOFLOC and Galansiyang Inc., won most of the awards.
